Usage Rights & Copyright Policy<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

1. Copyright Ownership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All artworks created by Stan Lauwers<\/strong> (including paintings, sketches, studies, digital images, prints, and commissioned works) are protected by copyright law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, all copyrights and intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Stan Lauwers, even after the sale of the original artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purchase of an artwork does not<\/strong> transfer copyright ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

2. Permitted Use (Private Collectors)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When purchasing an original artwork or print, the buyer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license<\/strong> to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Display the artwork in a private home or private office<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Display the artwork in a gallery<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Resell the physical artwork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The buyer may not<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Reproduce the artwork<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Create derivative works<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Use the artwork for commercial purposes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Use the artwork for marketing, branding, merchandise, or advertising<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Digitally reproduce or distribute the artwork<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Mint the artwork as an NFT or use it in blockchain-related projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Without prior written permission from Stan Lauwers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n\n\n\n

      3. Commercial Use License<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Commercial use (including but not limited to advertising, branding, packaging, editorial publication, website use, or promotional materials) requires a separate written licensing agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Such agreement must specify:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Scope of use<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Territory<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Duration<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Media formats<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Compensation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        No commercial rights are granted unless explicitly stated in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. Commissioned Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        For commissioned artworks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Copyright remains with Stan Lauwers unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The client receives usage rights as specified in the commission agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Any additional usage beyond the agreed scope requires written approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          \n\n\n\n

          5. Moral Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Stan Lauwers retains all moral rights to the artwork, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • The right to be credited as the creator<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • The right to object to distortion, modification, or misuse of the artwork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            \n\n\n\n

            6. Digital Images & Website Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            All images displayed on websites, social media platforms, or promotional materials remain the intellectual property of Stan Lauwers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Downloading, copying, screenshotting, or redistributing images without written consent is prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n\n\n\n

            7. Resale & Exhibition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Collectors may resell or exhibit the physical artwork, provided:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • Proper attribution is given to Stan Lauwers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • The artwork is not altered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
              \n\n\n\n

              8. Requests for Permission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
